About Us -- Putting Children First

The educational gap between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' is large and impeding the flow of well-prepared human resources to meet the needs of society in the United States. When standardized test scores are examined across schools, the performance of economically disadvantaged and children of color falls below expectations.

EDDY was created to empower parents, educators and school systems with specific knowledge, skills and strategies to enhance the educational systems to allow every child an opportunity for a bright future. EDDY focuses on the learning and development of educators and children through innovative and engaging programs, products and services.

The products of Musical Mathematics were developed to help informal educators, parents and children, community organizations and faith-based organizations address the void in learning for children.

EDDY provides for the professional development of educators through conferences, and workshops as well as consulting services including strategic planning, research and evaluation, and program design.

For parents and students, EDDY provides products and workshops that focus on culturally responsive pedagogical strategies, primarily in mathematics instruction for students.
